Invitations have been sent out to full-award graduates of the class of 2018/19.
Date: Thursday 5th September 2019

Time: Doors open 5.00pm. Ceremony begins 7.00pm

5.00pm Car park and doors open at the Racecourse
5.00 – 6.00pm Registration and Gown collection (Ground Floor)
5.00 – 6.15pm Visit Lafayette Photography (2nd Floor). Please see additional information.
5.00 – 6.00pm Refreshments & light snacks available for purchase (2nd Floor). This is a non-alcoholic event.
From 5.30pm Doors to Ceremony Room for guests open (3rd Floor).
6.00 – 6.40pm Student Roll Call & Group Photographs (Ground Floor).
6.40 – 7.00pm Students directed to their seats (3rd Floor). Please stay in the order of your seat so that you receive the correct award.
7.00pm Graduation Ceremony begins. Please allow approximately one hour for the ceremony.

Graduation Gowns
Gowns, Caps & Epitogues will be available for hire (€15.00) on the ground floor from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Students must wear the Graduation Gown for the ceremony and returned immediately after the ceremony.
Photographs
Lafayette Photography are the official graduation photographers for Mallow College of Further Education. It is advisable to pre-book your photography online at lafayette.ie through the “Graduation & Ceremony Photography” section. Online bookings will close at midday the day before your graduation day. Lafayette is open 2 hours prior to your ceremony and to avoid queues you can have your photograph taken beforehand. You do not need your award for your photograph as a prop will be provided.
Guests
Unfortunately space limitations mean we can accommodate 2 guests only (aged 12 or over) for each student.
Special or additional requirements
Cork Racecourse, Mallow is wheelchair accessible. If you or your guests have any specific access or mobility requirements, please contact us by emailing graduation@mallowcollege.ie. Please note, there are stairs to navigate be mindful of footwear. Elevator can’t take everyone at once!
Refreshments
Tea, coffee and light snacks will be available for purchase on the 2nd floor from 5.00 to 6.00pm. This is a non-alcoholic event.
